Julie Charest is a Vancouver-based lawyer practicing primarily in immigration and refugee law. She grew up in Québec and moved to BC in 2009. She completed a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations at the University of British Columbia in 2015 and earned her law degree from the University of Victoria in 2020. 

While attending law school, Julie volunteered at the Law Student Legal Advice Program in Vancouver and completed a clinical-term program at the Law Centre in Victoria.  After graduation, Julie articled at a small size law firm in Kitsilano. Upon being called to the bar, in 2021, she began her own practice: Julie Charest Law — a virtual law firm that offers unbundled legal services throughout British Columbia.

Julie is fluent in both French and English and proficient in Spanish.
